It’s Official: Mascot Hall of Fame Adds Four New Mascots!

Our friends at the Mascot Hall of Fame (MHOF) have four new hall of famers.

The museum held it’s induction ceremony for the 2020 class of mascots on Sunday, June 14. And with the pandemic, this year’s class was honored in a virtual induction ceremony, which has been watched by thousands of people.

You might remember that we blogged about the new class of mascots back when they were first named in January. The four include: Youppi! (Montreal Canadiens, NHL), Boomer (Indiana Pacers, NBA), The Oriole Bird (Baltimore Orioles, MLB), and Blue (Indianapolis Colts, NFL). The induction has hosted in all its hilarity by MHOF’s in-house mascot, the famous Reggy The Purple Party Dude

Families also tuned in to watch the honorees in action and view the heartwarming messages that were provided by their teammates. In the end each inductee received their very own MHOF 2020 induction ring. When the museum reopens in Whiting, Indiana, visitors can see the set of ring replicas on display.

Gather the kids around and watch the induction ceremony yourself – it’s a fun event if you’re looking for something to occupy the kiddos! Learn more about MHOF at: www.mascothalloffame.com.
