New Class of Mascots to be inducted into Mascot Hall of Fame

There’s big news in the world of sports (and fake fur): four new professional mascots have been elected to the Mascot Hall of Fame (MHOF) in Whiting, IN.

The new mascots are Youppi! (Montreal Canadiens, NHL), Boomer (Indiana Pacers, NBA), The Oriole Bird (Baltimore Orioles, MLB), and Blue (Indianapolis Colts, NFL). These new members will join the 20 existing Hall of Famers during induction ceremonies planned for June 12-14, 2020.

Chicago Scenic is proud of our collaboration with JRA in the creation and launch of the popular 25,000 sq. ft. museum, which opened in 2018 to honor the sports world's often unsung heroes. Adding newly elected Mascots each year helps the MHOF staff keep content fresh and provides guests with an attractive reason to return each year.

The museum primarily targets 8-13-year-olds but its many layers of interactive exhibits, videos, authentic mascot experiences, and curated artifacts appeal to a much broader audience. The MHOF’s seven exhibits and environments speak the language of FUN, with playful names like Fuzzical Education, Fureshman Orientation, and Science of Silliness.

It’s not too soon to start planning your June visit. Learn more about the MHOF induction process, 2020 Induction Weekend, and museum events and exhibits at www.mascothalloffame.com
