TRADE SHOWS

We’re busy packing our Museum Exhibit Tradeshow Cases and Heading Out!

How About You? Chicago Scenic is on the road again for museum trade shows!

First stop: ACM Interactivity, Denver, May 8-10

Children’s exhibit designs and engaging interactives will be the hot topics all day, every day, at ACM this year.

In Denver, visit us at Tabletop 3 and meet Jacqueline Johnson, one of our experienced and enthusiastic project managers known best for her strong background in exhibit design and museum exhibit fabrication. Jacqueline just finished working with Kraemer Design on a refurbishment of the Children's Museum of Oswego in Oswego, New York. Hear what key challenges Jacqueline solved with the client and how some of those solutions might solve the things keeping you up at night.

Stop #2 – AAM: laissez le bon temps rouler!

Who can resist our industry’s premiere trade show, especially when it’s in New Orleans, May 19-22.

Visit us at Booth #1737 and you’ll find industry veteran, senior project manager, and long-time museum advocate and solutions provider Jim Mallerdino.

One of Jim’s latest projects, the Mascot Hall of Fame, opened earlier this year to rave reviews. Jim was part of the Chicago Scenic team that worked closely with JRA to develop and produce the attraction in just under 6 months. Interactive exhibits, memorable designs, engaging environments – all topics Jim loves to discuss.

Jim also recently led the fabrication team that worked with Andy Anway from Amaze Design to produce the American Writers Museum in Chicago. Need to create a memorable museum space without using any artifacts? This team did, and Fodor’s Travel name AWM the #1 museum in their article “Sneak Peek Inside the World’s 10 Best New Museums.”

And, just for fun… Ask Jim about the time his team moved a 250 ft. big U-boat submarine into the Museum of Science & Industry, Chicago. Seriously.
