Calling All Gamers & Escape Room Fans – Help Us Test Our New Escape Room Interactives
Chicago Scenic is working on our 4th Escape Room environment design for Royal Caribbean International and we need testers for the interactive prototypes that are a key part of the high-tech, immersive environments.
These Escape Rooms are part of the recent massive renovations designed to enhance the cruise experience for several different Royal Caribbean ships.
Anyone who’s in the entertainment business knows: Real stuff and live immersive environments matter – especially the ones that engage and inspire people and leave them wanting more. When they’re done well, those environments enlist participants and guests to spread the word and help build the buzz.
Interactive designs on paper are perfect; it’s prototypes and performance testing, however, that ensures that guests understand the interactive designs and interact with them in the way the design team envisioned. This testing period is crucial because interactives need to be reliable, repeatable, and be built for ongoing durability. When those interactives are on a ship that spends much of its time at sea, interactive performance needs to be practically bulletproof.
You can be part of the team that helps ensure that these new Escape Room interactives are not too easy, not too difficult, and can be reliably completed in the allotted time.

If you’re 14 years of age or older, and can spend 90 minutes at our Facility – 955 W. Cermak Road, Chicago – on July 24 or 25. Available testing times are 4:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. Up to 12 people can play in each time slot so sign up soon.
Please note: Participants must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Participants under age 18 must have a parent sign the NDA Agreement.
