The idea was to create a set that was interactive, exciting, and contemporary, and informative at the same time. Chicago Scenic designed the set that moved 16 contestants through an exciting game where each left with at least $50,000.
Among the challenges in creating this set was the requirement that it must take place in a small studio in front of a live audience, meaning that only one small but extremely efficient set could be built. The primary components of the set were the Illinois Lottery brand, the brightly illuminated, colored and fully interactive game board, and the contestants’ area.
Chicago Scenic has worked with the Illinois Lottery on a few of their past projects as well, including their Lotto Set built in 2001. The set was built as a background for the televised nightly drawings on WGN Chicago. Inspired by the Illinois State Lottery games logo this easily storable five-panel wall used various paint treatments developed by CSSI.
