Seed to Shelf

One of the Museum’s most unique – and popular - attractions is the custom play table. Its figure-eight shape maximizes the number of children that can interact at one time. And its educational message about the path food travels from “seed to shelf” is realistically informed by familiar local landmarks, including the town’s prominent industry anchor and exhibit sponsor, Archer Daniels Midland.

Chicago Scenic worked closely with design firm Kraemer Production + Design to make the most of the client’s budget. The result is this newly re-imagined children’s museum chock full of uniquely educational interactives in more than 2,500 sq. ft. that delight and engage children for hours.
