NFL Helmets

For the 2015 NFL Draft, PepsiCo – a major sponsor of the event – wanted to create a photo opportunity ‘environment’ that would support fans of every NFL team and spread the word about their ticket giveaway promotion.

Chicago Scenic helped to create the outdoor event space at Pioneer Court along Michigan Avenue, which comprised 32 replica NFL team helmets.

In order to fit all 32 helmets into the space and still allow for individualized interactive opportunities, Chicago Scenic designed a curved metal stem that connects the concrete base to the oversized fiberglass helmet – an easily concealed but supportive solution. This allowed fans to sit beneath the helmet and rest against the stem while others snapped photos.
