Over
the past 15 years, Chicago Scenic has worked on many large-scale
meetings and events for the McDonald's Corporation. Chicago
Scenic's first major project for McDonald's was the Managers
Tour, an annual event that is held in approximately eight
locations over a 60-day period, all transported on multiple
trucks, including full lighting and sound systems. Because
the meeting took place in different locations and installation
time was a factor, Chicago Scenic developed the Self-Elevating
Theatre (SET) system to meet the tour's needs. The SET system
provides a consistent stage presentation in any venue with
a complete scenic package, and it installs in one day or less,
making it the perfect staging choice when time is of the essence.
With self-contained lighting and rigging systems it can create
a complete ground-supported theater system in any venue.
Since
that first project, Chicago Scenic has worked both directly
with McDonald's Corporation and for multiple production companies
in order to maintain consistency and the high quality they
demand. Chicago Scenic has provided staging for national owner
and operator meetings, international meetings, and small local
community events. From the launch of the Arch Deluxe to fund
raisers and media events, Chicago Scenic and McDonald's have
enjoyed a long-standing relationship.
