Blackhawks fans, be sure to check out one of Chicago’s biggest fans, The Field Museum’s Brachiosaurus dinosaur, standing on the Museum’s Northwest terrace overlooking Chicago’s skyline and sporting an extra extra large Blackhawks jersey.

Chicago Scenic Studios, Inc. fashioned the oversized jersey out of more than 400 square feet of fabric. The jersey rests on a metal armature that CSSI metal workers fabricated to protect the dinosaur and help give the jersey its shape.

The jersey was installed on Tuesday, May 19 to announce the city’s support as the Blackhawks continue their efforts to become Stanley Cup Champions.

This is the second jersey that Chicago Scenic designed and constructed for The Field Museum’s Brachiosaurus. The last jersey was made in 2007 to help the Chicago Bears celebrate their National Football Conference Championship. That season ended with an unsuccessful Super Bowl bid; the Indianapolis Colts beat the Chicago Bears 29-17.
