Navy Pier’s Winter WonderFest celebration in its 10th year, bigger & better than ever before
2009 marks the 10th consecutive year that Chicago Scenic has transformed the 150,000 sq. ft. Festival Hall at Chicago’s Navy Pier into a magical holiday celebration for the season’s popular Winter WonderFest. A month-long event featuring holiday decorations, entertainment and carnival rides, Winter WonderFest is a joint project of The Metropolitain Pier and Exposition Authority, Chicago Scenic and Ravenswood Event Services.
This year, in addition to producing Winter WonderFest, Chicago Scenic and Ravens-wood were awarded the Pier-wide holiday décor package. Beginning before Thanksgiving, Chicago Scenic team members spent hours transforming Navy Pier into a festive holiday attraction.
CSSI developed the original master design plan and continues to manage the project and procure new themed elements and attractions while refurbishing existing elements each year.
