Museum Showcases Reproductions of Chicago's Historical Architecture
When the Chicago History Museum recently underwent a complete overhaul at their facility, exhibits contractor Design and Production, Inc. called in Chicago Scenic to help with some of the more artistic details. We worked on three main pieces that are displayed in various areas of the museum.

The first is an architectural arch that was copied from a building in Chicago's1893 World's Columbian Exposition. Another element we built was a cornice molding that is reminiscent of another World's Fair building. The last piece is a CTA train car and faux train platform that we dressed up, including adding faux steel panels and wooden beams to make it look more authentic.
