WGN
Logos Get a Facelift
Chicago
Scenic helped Superstation WGN update their look on the national
and local television fronts. Project Manager Ross Hamilton worked
with WGN Art Director Denis Merinos to change to the logos on the
news desk and interview area.
In order to integrate their local presence with their national cable
network, WGN recreated their logo with bolder letters so that it
would be more easily recognized. CSSI was hired to quickly replace
the old logos with new ones.
Job Leads Mike Zaremba and Joy Holden produced new logos for the
face of the news desk, which were cut on the CNC router and painted
to match the existing paint on the desk. Schellhorn Photo Techniques
created the rest of the logos for the interview areas out of vinyl.
The entire installation process required a one-day changeover.
