“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” took Chicago by storm

The driving rain and cold didn’t keep Chicago Scenic Studios from helping Ellen DeGeneres dance her way onto the Chicago stage recently.

CSSI provided Ellen’s show with steeldeck for the stage, cameras and control area, and coordinated the much-needed roof-structure over the stage and tents to keep the equipment dry. Chicago Scenic also produced decorative banners that served as part of the set designed by Jay Heiserman. Load-in began four days before the taping and CSSI staffers were on-hand and on-call for last-minute requests.
