WGN Debuts New Parade Float
Continuing in a long line of work for WGN, CSSI recently built a completely new parade float from the ground up for the TV station. The float is scheduled to be used as a platform for in-house talent in all of WGN’s upcoming parade commitments throughout the year.

CSSI’s Ryan Hall designed a tiered platform accentuated with a faux giant high-definition TV for the float. The TV was decorated with CNC-cut letters of their new logo. Using their logo colors and graphics, Hall created a custom signature float that can easily accommodate banners and promotional graphics, and can hold approximately 12 people at a time. Luis Salces served as the job lead on the project.

Working with WGN’s Diana Dionisio, manager of publicity and promotions, and Joanne Stern, director of creative services, Project Manager Ross Hamilton made sure the float was designed and constructed in WGN’s distinct style and just in time for its St. Patrick’s Day debut.
