Navy Pier Decked Out in Holiday Style
Navy Pier was a magical place during the holidays once again this year with the help of Chicago Scenic Studios. Festive holiday decorations designed by Tom Ryan were placed throughout the pier. Project Manager Rick Boultinghouse and Assistant Project Manager Joy Holden worked with Job Leads Debbie Miller and Andy Lemerand to make sure there was something special in every corner.

Guests had their picture taken with Santa against a backdrop of lit garland and ornaments and the Pier Players entertained visitors on the Family Pavilion Stage. CSSI also provided large-scale wrapped candy decorations to match the candy theme on the enormous kinetic cookie factory that hung high above the visitors' heads in the Family Pavilion. Lit garland swags kept shoppers in the holiday spirit along the food court and retail areas.

This year décor extended the length of the Pier to Festival Hall. Wreathes, lit garland swags, and snowflake banners helped draw guests down to Winter WonderFest, a new family event held in Festival Hall that CSSI designed.
