WGN Hits the Jackpot with New Lotto Set
Working with Ogilvy & Mather, CSSI helped to create a new background for the televised drawings of the Illinois State Lottery. Project Manager Ross Hamilton worked closely with Ogilvy & Mather Producer Julie Shayman to develop and finalize the designs for the wall, which can be seen nightly at 9:22 p.m. on Chicago’s WGN-TV.

Ogilvy & Mather Art Director Jonathan Schoonveld worked closely with CSSI’s Paint Department Head Kevin Taylor to develop the final paint treatments for the wall. The wall is painted with a base of green and features ribbons of colors inspired by the Illinois State Lottery games logo. The wall was designed to break into five sections for easy storage at WGN studios. Joe Strange was the job lead.
