Victor/Victoria at Marriott
Marriott's Lincolnshire Theatre's production of Victor/Victoria once again used Chicago Scenic's system of computerized motion control to run eleven hydraulic lifts in the deck. The system was programmed to recreate Tom Ryan's set design of an intricate series of moving steps and platforms for Victor/Victoria's staging and choreography.

CSSI's staff developed this system three years ago for Marriott's production of Dreamgirls. It is capable of 150 separate cues that set the lifts at exact heights throughout the show. New to the system for this production are pneumatic safety switches that stop the lifts immediately if they come into contact with anything.

Ross Hamilton and Garrett Todd project managed, John Woodward and Russ Pharr led the shop through production, and Curt Kucik programmed the show controller.

Marriott's current show, Phantom, runs through January 2000.
