Cheer Kids Show
Working with BSMG Worldwide, CSSI designed and built a mini tradeshow booth and a stage set for the Magic Show in Las Vegas.

The 10' x 10' booth and stage add-ons for a Cheer-sponsored fashion show titled Kids Wear the Darndest Things were designed by Angie Weber. The tradeshow booth had a backwall grid with an oversized Cheer logo and the tagline "Acts like vitamins for your clothes."

The booth's custom counters, used for product giveaways, featured locking storage, Cheer colors and repeated the logo. The stage pieces were comprised of two kid-sized arches and an oversized box of Cheer. Project Manager Gary Heitz worked with BSMG's Ellen Bartkowski to complete the job.

City of Hope changes gears
When City of Hope held a buffet this year instead of their annual formal dinner in conjunction with the Hardware Show, Chicago Scenic, working with Creative Entertainment, had to come up with a new way to decor the ballroom. Staff Designer Tom Ryan created clusters of internally lit Shoji Towers. He completed the look by placing them in front of lighted gold chiffon drapes. The drapes, sewn by Debbie Miller, are now in CSSI's rental inventory. Bud Sweet led the job through installation.

City of Hope reused the towers for a show in North Carolina, and at the same time held a fundraiser at Navy Pier using CSSI's rental skyline set as a backdrop. Russell Pharr led both of these projects through installation. Project Manager Gary Heitz coordinated all three projects with Diane Goldberg and Gabrielle Abrams of Creative Entertainment.
