New WBBM Reporting Desk Ready for Specials
When WBBM needed a special news desk for the reports coming in from the Tall Ships Festival at Navy Pier, Art Director Neil Weisenberg called on Chicago Scenic to help. Project Manager Gary Heitz worked closely with Broadcast Designer Dena Serpico to create the perfect look for this special desk.

For the news desk, WBBM purchased a high-end table and hired Chicago Scenic to customize it. CSSI job lead Wayne Adams added a cross member and cable system to the desk to allow for the attachment of a translucent vinyl CBS logo mounted on frosted Plexiglas to the front of the desk.

The customized desk was well received, and WBBM plans to use the desk for additional special reports in the future.
