ConAgra
Displays a Delicious New Booth
Patty
Packard of ConAgra, working with Emily Johnson and Susan Kiminsky
of Dome Communications, hired Chicago Scenic after talking with
several design firms, because she felt that Chicago Scenic’s
ideas were exactly what was envisioned for their dream tradeshow
booth. Thousands of people were expected at the American Dietary
Association’s Food and Nutrition Conference and Exhibit and
ConAgra wanted to present a warm and upscale booth with an urban
food-market feel that would effectively inform visitors about the
variety of brands available from ConAgra.
CSSI Designer Tom Ryan created the attractive and functional booth
to meet all of their requirements. The design revolved around a
sizeable tasting station where visitors were encouraged to stop
by for samples of peanut butter, popcorn, and other products available
from ConAgra. The tasting station was provided with MR-16 display
lighting and topped with a giant header sporting ConAgra logos.
Four corner kiosk units were used to display products and information
about the company. The kiosks were topped with red umbrellas and
incorporated the display lighting system. CSSI’s Ryan Hall
was responsible for the design and layout of the graphics.
Project Manager Gary Heitz coordinated the project and made sure
it was completed within the time and budget restraints. To keep
costs down, CSSI customized commercially available store fixtures
with hardwood side panels and drawers to create the right look for
the display kiosks. Job Lead Mike Zaremba assembled and built the
display while CSSI Painter Amy Holsman finished the cherry and oak
hardwoods. Wall carpet softened the look and enhanced the warm and
inviting feel.
