PBS' CEO
Exchange Built To Be Flexible
Working
with WTTW, Chicago's local PBS station, CSSI built the set for the
nationally broadcast PBS program CEO Exchange. The show tapes each
month in a different location for later broadcast. To date, the
show has traveled to various locations including Northwestern University,
University of Chicago, University of Michigan, Penn State University
and even overseas to England.
The set, which
is made up of laminated and veneered wood with fabric panels, was
designed by Rene Lagler to be configured to fit any venue's space
restrictions. The host's desk was also built to be multifunctional;
it can be used as a table for the host and interviewees to sit around
or as a coffee table.
Project Manager Ken Zommer worked with WTTW's Fred Schneider, the
show's producer, to complete this job.
