Chicago Parades Get the Holidays Started
Many Chicago Scenic-built floats were featured in the 2006 Magnificent Mile Lights Festival in Chicago. Some of the more spectacular were Santa's sleigh and reindeer, and WGN-TV and Harris Bank's festive floats. We also helped the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association in the parade's production.

CSSI also worked on the McDonald's® Thanksgiving Day Parade, providing WLS-TV's float and McDonald's® spectacular McDonaldland Snowglobe featuring Birdie® and Grimace®. The parade drew a crowd of 400,000 along Chicago's famed State Street.

Dodge Nitro Melts the Hearts of Consumers
Chicago Scenic played a crucial role in an interactive marketing event when it was hired by Clear!Blue Communications to stage a contest that had teams face off in an attempt to melt a gigantic block of ice around a Dodge Nitro.

We provided a deck that could hold the 40,000-pound load of the car and ice plus the tent, power, audio, and technical support to make the public relations event a success.

Ocean Spray Takes Cranberries on Tour
Bogs Across America is Ocean Spray's exciting and interactive promotional event designed to kick off the holiday season, and Chicago Scenic is proud to be in on the action.
What better way to show off this unique fruit than to display it in its natural habitat: the cranberry bog, juxtaposed in the middle of the bustling cities of New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Chicago Scenic, working with Arnold Worldwide, went to work to build and then transport the 1,500-square-foot bog that held 12,000 gallons of water and 2,000 pounds of fresh berries to each of the three locations. We also built a 14-foot-tall gazebo that gives visitors a view of the entire bog from above. To ensure its safe delivery and set-up, Chicago Scenic staff members traveled along each step of the way.
