Jeff Bartle, Director of Creative Development
As Director of Creative Development, Jeff brings to Chicago Scenic Studios 26 years of experiential design development in the tradeshow, automotive, retail, museum, event and corporate industries. He is responsible for building both existing and new client relationships through immersive creative development practices and design management. Jeff works directly with clients and our internal design and project management teams to define, craft and deliver unique customer experiences that target specific audiences. Jeff has worked with leading Fortune 500 clients in various industry categories to develop brand marketing environmental experiences. He worked for and consulted with the top industry exhibit and design agencies, including George P. Johnson, Exhibit Works and Contempo.

A native of the Detroit area, Jeff graduated from the College for Creative Studies with a BFA in Industrial Design after completing two years of architectural study at Lawrence Institute of
Technology.

Denny Phipps, Project Manager

New project manager Denny Phipps is responsible for planning, preparation, scheduling, supervision and profitability for projects. Working with the other members of his team, he coordinates the functions of projects to ensure timely and on-budget completion, while managing client needs, site inspections, budgets and on-site crew supervision.

Denny started his career working for a number of theater companies, including Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre, as a scenic carpenter and stage electrician. He then worked as a project manager for Cincinnati-based exhibit firm Jack Rouse. Most recently, Denny spent more than seven years as an estimator/project manager for Exhibitgroup/Giltspur where he worked on projects for Caterpillar, Pontiac/GMC, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
