Snow Globes Showcase the Magic of Narnia
For the national promotion of Walt Disney’s film, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Chicago Scenic fabricated larger-than-life snow globes for eleven shopping malls across the country for the 2005 holiday season. For this unique promotion, four distinctive snow globes were installed at each mall location, enticing visitors to experience the magic of Narnia.

Partnering for the first time with the Becker Group, a nationally known experiential marketing agency, CSSI produced 20-foot-diameter walk-thru, themed snow globes to
generate excitement for the film. Complete with falling snow, the globes
were steel framed and finished with large jewels and white and gold touches. The giant globes offered a distinctive entrance resembling that of the movie’s signature wardrobe, which transported guests into the winter wonderland of Narnia. Additionally, three 6-foot-diameter globes for each mall display showcased lifelike characters and memorabilia from the film. Outfitted with touch screens, these interactive globes encouraged visitors to participate in the story by playing audio clips from the film and even generating snow.

Winter Wonderfest Lights Up Chicago
The LaSalle Bank Winter Wonderfest has become one of Chicago’s favorite holiday traditions. Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, Chicago Scenic Studios and Ravenswood Event Services joined forces for the fifth year in a row to produce this magical, themed environment at Chicago’s Navy Pier®. The month-long event delighted visitors with elaborate festive decorations and non-stop holiday entertainment. Chicago Scenic was tasked with master design planning, project management, procurement
of new themed elements and attractions and refurbishment of existing elements.
