Visitors Journey to Robot City
Take a journey to Robot City where “Robots: The Interactive Exhibition” combines the magic of film, educational interactive play and unique displays. The innovative museum exhibit offers a fascinating encounter into the exciting world of the box office smash
Robots, as well as real-life robotics.
Hired by the Becker Group, Chicago Scenic Studios built this exhibit that generates excitement about the science of robots and robotics. With over 15 interactives, visitors
can:
• devise a robot that performs a basic household task. (Build-A-Wonder-Bot Exhibit)
• master control of a robotic arm with this hands-on interactive that teaches the importance
of robotics in the workplace. (Industrial Robots Exhibit)
• experience a face-to-face encounter with robotic machines and companies that are
shaping the future. (Future of Robots Exhibit)
Chicago Scenic also handcrafted the highly detailed 2005 movie characters, Rodney,
Fender and Ratchet, and their unique display case. This national traveling exhibit is
currently at the Chicago Children’s Museum, and will run through March 6, 2006. Additional tour stops include The New Detroit Science Center, The Arizona Science Center, and The Maryland Science Center.
