In 1992 Chicago Scenic implemented a comprehensive apprentice program designed to give
participants a solid, well-rounded foundation in all aspects of fabrication and installation. The four tier program gives participants in-depth exposure to all departments including carpentry, metals, paint and project management, and offers continuing education in specific areas. The program’s main objective is to create long-term, competent employees who are successful
team leaders. Currently, six Chicago Scenic employees are in enrolled in the program.
They include: Chris Burman, Beau Hale, Steve Hemphill, Mike Hrehoriak, Larry
Chambers and John Barber.
