Chicago Scenic Hires Director of Sales and Marketing
In an effort to provide greater customer service for clients, Chicago Scenic Studios is expanding its management staff. Lydia Bailey Brown has accepted the role of Director of Sales and Marketing. Lydia brings twenty-three years of experience in Arts and Event Management to the table, including directorial work in museums, theater, corporate events and educational institutions. She has worked with such notable institutions as the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C and the internationally acclaimed Mariner’s Museum in Virginia. Most recently, she developed nationwide vendor accounts with Design Master’s of Williamsburg, Virginia, focusing on custom designs for destination businesses in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Lydia received her B.A. in Fine Arts from the College of William and Mary and a double M.B.A in Arts Management and Marketing from the State University of NY in Binghamton.

Lydia discovered the open position at CSSI while doing online industry research and it piqued her curiosity to dig a little deeper. Upon meeting Bob and the team at Chicago Scenic, Lydia was impressed by the quality of the product and the company’s emphasis on customer service. Passionate about her work, she is excited to team with highly creative people and be an impetus for growth into new markets. She brings an open, down-to-earth style and an outgoing personality. Lydia moves to Chicago with her husband, two teenagers and a golden retriever. Lydia loves art, travel and listens to a wide variety of music.
