Chicago Indoor Racing Sports New Multipurpose Arch
Chicago Indoor Racing sports a new arch, thanks to Chicago Scenic Studios. After successfully producing a similar “Red Bull” arch for the indoor teambuilding cart-racing facility, Chicago Scenic was pleased to get the invitation to develop this one as well. CSSI Project Managers Rick Boultinghouse and Ross Hamilton worked with Tony Stewart of Chicago Indoor Racing to create the impressive structure.

The purpose of the arch was three-fold: to create a visible marker for racers on the track, to help block the view of the pit from the facility’s restaurant window, and to offer advertising space. CSSI Designer Robert Kovach designed the arch to emulate actual racetrack facilities and to allow for future upgrades. The arch was constructed of tube-steel-framed, mesh-infill with a large framed billboard at the center and two easily removable outer signs.

The job was led by Dave Kaina with support from Ray Cruz, while Sue Kaip helped paint the frame.
