Bob oversees and guides all aspects of Chicago Scenic, including project design, specifications, client relations and marketing. He is responsible for the ongoing duty of “getting the job done” through supervision of project planning and development of the production units.

Bob has been active in construction management and design his entire career.  His hands-on experience and working knowledge of the industry have guided the company since its incorporation over 29 years ago.

Bob has been directly involved with major commercial and business theatre events, ranging from “Hair” and Off-Broadway productions to corporate productions for McDonald’s, Kraft and General Motors. His lighting and scenic designs have been recognized with numerous nominations and awards.

His television experience is broad-based; designing, building, lighting and production management of many television series and shows for network, local and cable distribution. ABC Sports and Network News, Buena Vista, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Sports Channel, WFLD Fox 32 News, BET and WMAQ News Chicago are a few such shows Bob has worked.

Construction management and labor relations are the strongest assets that he brings to a project along with 30 years of industry experience. He acted as the construction manager for the 1996 Democratic National Convention and senior producer for the 1994 World Cup USA Opening Ceremonies here in Chicago. He has also served as the executive producer for Chicago’s nationally broadcast annual Christmas parade.

His theme park and permanent installation experience has grown along with the industry, servicing Six Flags, Disney World and Universal Studios Hollywood, Disney Quest Chicago, Chicago’s Navy Pier (Illinois’s #1 tourist destination) along with a host of smaller parks.
