Portable stage decking can be adjusted virtually to any height. They can be custom dressed with paint, carpet, or vinyl flooring and skirting.

WOOD DECK – TRADITIONAL THEATRICAL DESIGN

Appearance: Black painted wood Assembly: Decks are joined together by locking “casket lock” mechanisms; legging fits into sockets on the underside of deck and is nailed in. Duplex nails and casket lock key are provided; a hammer is needed to secure the legs in their sockets. Legging: 2” x 4” wood legs in standard heights: 6”, 8”, 12”, 16”, 18”, 24” 30”, 32”, 36”, 40”, 42”, 48” Non-rotating 8’ diameter circular stage.

We provide commercial grade carpet in many stock colors as well as dance flooring, and painted and veneer sheet stock.

HANDRAILS/GUARDRAILS

Handrails form a barrier around edges of decks 4' wide, 42" high, for use with STEELDECK®. Widths available in 2', 3', or 4' segments. Top of guardrail is constructed from 1 ½” x 1 ½” rolled steel tube. Pickets are ¾” x ¾” steel tube. Finished in black powdercoat. Custom handrails are available. Black Velour handrail covers are also available.

CASTERS/WHEELS

4’ wide metal plates with castors attached makes a stack of 4’ x 8’ STEELDECKS® easy to move. Using casters, we can make rolling platforms at 8 inches, 2-feet, or custom heights.

CROSS-BRACING

After 48” (4ft.) high and above STEELDECKS® need a cross-bracing system for safety. At left is a diagram to illustrate what the system will probably look like. Our engineers will configure the system to your needs and safety standards. An instructional packet will accompany the order.
